You are bidding on a Brand New Kirkey 15 1/2" Wide Lightweight Racing Seat & Black Cover (Kirkey Part #'s 50155 & 5015511).

These seats are regularly used in Mini-Sprints (1000cc & 1200cc) and Micro-Sprints (250cc, 270cc, & 600cc), including chassis from Triple X, Factor 1, Sawyer, Stallard, PMP, Concept, Hyper, Bailey, etc.  These seats will also fit numerous other forms of motorsports applications.

Features:

  • Kirkey's Lightweight Double Rib Support seat is designed for the racer who wants to save weight, but demands the ultimate in comfort and safety
  • Strategically placed flared openings save weight and add strength
  • Constructed from TIG welded .080" & .100" thick 5052 grade aluminum
  • MIG welded inside for extra strength
  • Detachable left front section of the seat allows seat to be used for all classes of micro sprints (250, 270, & 600cc) 
  • Aluminum extrusion around perimeter of seat adds strength and safety
  • Edge of seat is stepped and extrusion is offset to outside, so inside of seat is completely smooth
  • Seat back is double crossbroke for added strength and safety
  • Rib supports are reinforced with welded, lightweight flared band
  • Pre-cut shoulder belt & sub belt openings
  • Machined plate added to shoulder belt openings to increase strength
  • Right side offset out for leg & thigh clearance
  • Extra thick, high density foam on rib supports of cover adds comfort and strength

    ***How to measure for a seat: In the seated position, using a straight edge, measure across the hips at the widest point.  This measurement is the width of seat that you need.
