Lamborghini Cabrera: The tease begins Just yesterday, we reported that the very last Lamborghino Gallardo had rolled off the production line in Sant’Agata Bolognese after a ten year reign. And Lamborghini are wasting no time whetting appetites for the Gallardo, with a new website launched to tease its replacement, complete with a ‘start’ button to hear the new V10 roar and instructions to “Listen to your instinct – Discover the roar of the new creature from Lamborghini”. That replacement is probably going to be called the Lamborghini Cabrera, which we’ve been expecting to debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

Charles Morgan to build rival cars

Sacked Morgan boss Charles Morgan is to set up new sports car company that he says will rival the 104-year-old British car manufacturer that bears his family name and recently dismissed him. In a report in the Telegraph, Charles is quoted as saying his new company will “build on the innovation and heritage of my grandfather”. We may not actually get a public debut of the 2012 SEAT Ibiza until the Geneva Motor Show in March, but SEAT are previewing that public debut with details of the facelift and photos of the new Ibiza. All three body styles for the Ibiza get facelifted – the three-door SC, five-door hatch and Ibiza Estate (ST) – with the most immediately noticeable feature being a nose that looks like it came from the SEAT IBX Concept we saw at Geneva last year and which looks set to be the new face of SEAT.
