These look like jewelery for your bike
The original, patented, FLARE Windshield was developed at Klock Werks out of a desire/need for stability at highway speeds and for racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. The FLARE is the ORIGINAL windshield of its kind, and has surprised riders everywhere with not only how great it looks, but also with how well it performs. The innovative design features "hips" at the outer edge of the shield that re-route the air to add downforce to the front of the bike, which aids stability vs. using the stock shield. The "flip" at the top of the FLARE is designed to kick the air up and then allow it to flow back as "clean", less turbulent air for the rider. NOTE: The Klock Werks Flare Windshield will not work in conjunction with the windshield rubber trim that comes factory on 2011 Road Glide CVO models. The Flare Windshield will work on these models if the rubber trim is removed.
- 8" is perfect for those accustomed to riding with a lower windshield. You will feel more air than a taller screen. Advantage: PERFORMANCE over stock screen. Downforce and less turbulant air around the rider and passenger
- 12" combines sporty and touring. Low enough to see over, high enough to tour with!
- 16" designed for long haul touring, those used to the tall stock shield, and taller than average riders. Protection and performance. Some riders will look through the 16".
- Fits 1998-2012 FLTR, FLTRX models
- Wind tunnel designed and tested, the “hips” provide added downforce while the “flip” directs air over the rider to help eliminate the swirl of air found in front of the rider on standard windshields
- Lexan® Polycarbonate with FMR hard coating is used to create these custom-molded designs with unmatched durability.
- Pre-drilled for easy mounting using stock windshield hardware.
- The Flare Windshields are measured from the center bolt hole to the start of the flip on the top of the windshield.
- Harley Davidson radar detectors and GPS systems that are mounted in the recommended fairing mount position will not fit with the 8" Flare Windshield.
- The black, chrome, and black chrome windshields are completely opaque, you cannot see through them.
- Made in the U.S.A.

Car dealers are buying again
Wed, 21 Jan 2009Used car sales in the UK (and just about everywhere else, for that matter) have been in the doldrums, to say the least, for many months. The inexorable decline in car values has left many dealers nursing painful losses on stock cars, and has led to the strange situation where, however desperate a dealer was to sell you a new car, he wouldn’t (or couldn’t) offer you a part-ex price. Car dealers are buying stock again But according to the used car value Gurus at Glasses Guide, things are starting to look up – a little.
