Maserati Quattroporte will be the big seller in India It’s not a surprise that Maserati has announced it’s going to enter the marketplace in India, very sensibly in partnership with Indian luxury retailer the Shreyans Group, who also import Ferrari. A handful of manufacturers have offered four-wheel steering in the past including Honda, Nissan, BMW, Mitsubishi, Mazda and, most recently, Acura and Porsche. On Monday, suspension expert Elephant Racing uploaded a video to its YouTube channel demonstrating the feature on the 2014 Porsche 911 GT3. In most four-wheel steering cars--Acura and Porsche included—a computer controls the movable rear wheels.

Parade celebrates astronauts and Corvettes

After Alan Shepard became the first American to travel into outer space in 1961, General Motors executive Ed Cole presented the astronaut with a new 1962 Chevrolet Corvette, customized with a space-age interior. Shepard had brought along his own 1957 Corvette when he reported for the space-training program in 1959. Thanks to a special lease arrangement between the space men and a Melbourne, Fla., Chevy dealership, six of the Mercury Seven astronauts were Corvette owners.
