Save yourself some serious time & money with these definitive guides.

We have been doing this for a L - O - N - G time and spend a great deal of time in the listing and description of each item.  Please remember that we don't write them, read them or use them - No one here is a certified mechanic.  We simply describe, to the best of our ability, what is in front of us.  99% of the time these items are used and we have nothing to compare them to.  In most cases, unless otherwise noted, they will have minor imperfections from normal use: a page or cover crease, minor fingerprints, edge / thumbing wear, shop dust, etc.  We go out of our way to tell you if the manuals are in either Excellent Excellent condition or in poor condition.  If we have multiple copies of an item in the same sale - they will be reasonably similar in condition.  Often times a manual's covers show far more wear than the manuals themselves - you aren't reading the covers anyway, but we will tell you if a cover is absent or we know if a page or two is missing, or if the manual is heavily soiled.  Please remember all the items we sell are unique and condition is subjective.  We try to be very conservative in our representation of sales items.  It's actually harder to sell a used item than a new one - we have to describe the difference.  Check our feedback!   We don't try to misrepresent anything  -  No surprises are a good thing  -  We do our best to help you.

We always ship promptly following purchase (the same or the next business day depending on the time of day and where we are at).  Remember that there is no UPS pickup or residential delivery on Saturdays.  While we ship USPS on Saturdays, any purchases made on Saturday shipping via USPS will go out on 1st thing on Monday.

Tracking number information is provided by eBay (and sometimes paypal automatically too) under the "view order details" tab in the menu choices when you view the listing AFTER your purchase.  Sometimes (I don't know why) you can just click on the tracking number - Otherwise, you can follow the progress of your item by going to USPS.com or UPS.com - You see the same information that we do (in the same relative time too).  UPS tracking is a little more detailed than USPS which doesn't seem to update their info as often.  If things are going USPS Media Mail please be patient.  They state 2-9 days and are usually pretty accurate.  I'm certain this is influenced by where you are at in the country and the overall volume of mail in the system.  Remember we ship it out the same day or the very next business day - ALWAYS!

Purchase with confidence from professionals with years or sales experience and thousands of other satisfied customers.  With over 9,500 eBay sales transactions and several thousand feedbacks - all but 100% positive - for a good reason !  While we are honored by your business please note that due to the intellectual nature of this material we do not offer refunds.  We are not a library and just simply can't afford for someone to either use or photocopy the material we offer at our expense.  The fees and overhead we incur are just too high.  It's an unfortunate reality and we hope that everyone understands this before they complete their purchase.

We will leave you positive feedback and hope you will do the same for us.  We want happy folks - It's just good business.

ANNDDD.... Finally:   THANKS ! - This is how my family makes its living  -  WE VERY MUCH APPRECIATE YOUR BUSINESS !

Million Dollar Fiat: 1953 Zagato Fiat 8V Elaborata

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Fiat's first, and only, V8 engine debuted at the 1952 Geneva Auto Show powering a sleek two-seater intended to dominate Ferrari, Maserati and Lancia in two-liter sports-car racing. The car was designated the 8V, or Otto Vu in Italian, because Fiat had mistakenly thought that Ford held a trademark on V8. Fiat's legendary design engineer Dante Giacosa mounted the upper portions of a pair of 70-degree V4 engines on a single crankcase to make the 1996-cc, OHV V8.

2012 Porsche 911 – Details

Wed, 29 Dec 2010

The 2012 Porsche 911 - grows in size It’s always the same when a new Porsche 911 comes along; it’s ‘spot-the-change’ time as Porsche reveals another evolution in the long history of its most iconic marque. So with a new 911 due in 2012 it’s perfectly reasonable to expect some nips and tucks to the body and a fettling of the oily bits to drag a bit more performance a bit more economically. Nothing too dramatic; just another chapter in the 911′s evolution.

Victor Muller on Saab escapade: 'Painful'

Thu, 23 May 2013

Reports say that the Swedish government wants to question former Saab chairman Victor Muller as part of an inquiry into suspected tax offenses at Saab. Muller defended payments he received from the automaker in a recent interview with me and talked about how he has moved on from painful memories of Saab. The Dutch entrepreneur rejected criticisms that his 600,000 euro ($773,000) annual pay package at Saab was too large.
