Fri, 30 Mar 2007By Liz Turner First Official Pictures 30 March 2007 04:12 Ford Shelby GT500KR: the lowdown Ford’s latest Shelby Mustang special packs a 540bhp punch, and will be flexing its muscles at next week's New York Motor Show. It’s called the Ford Shelby GT500KR, in homage to the 1968 original, and just 1000 Coupes go on sale in spring 2008. KR means King of the Road, a name GM had intended to use until Shelby got wind of it and grabbed the crown first.

Thu, 03 Mar 2011German sports car maker Artega brought the current GT and the SE, an electric version of the obscure man’s Cayman, to the 2011 Geneva motor show. Artega… remind me who they are again? Artega was founded in 2006 in Dalbruch, Germany with the involvement of Karl Heinz Kalbfell, a well-known industry executive formerly of BMW, Rolls-Royce, Alfa Romeo and Maserati (he’s now at Lotus).
Volkswagen Taigun concept (2014): VW’s new baby SUV
Fri, 07 Feb 2014It seems the tailgate-mounted spare wheel could be making a comeback – first Ford launches the EcoSport, now VW has followed suit with this updated Taigun concept. Both cars are small crossover SUVs, aimed at emerging markets, particularly Brazil and India. With the EcoSport appearing in UK dealerships this May, however, we don’t think it will be too long before a production version of the Taigun offers VW’s take on the idea to European buyers as well.
