This is completely customized and only 10 in the world; made by Kreissieg with collaborate Jim Gainer; F1 Sound Valvetronic Titanium Floating Curl tail Exhaust System Nissan GT-R R35 09-14 Limited Edition. This is the valve system for Nissan GT-R(R35). With many decades of experience with exotic cars, Kreissieg's engineers have put down significant time and efforts to produce these exhaust systems. Our exhaust systems have very complicated construction to accomplish best exhaust sound quality. Not only the valve controls the loudness, but our system also has unique muffler construction to produce our own exhaust tone. This is how Kreissieg can achieve its high-pitch exhaust sound that no one else can imitate. SPECIFICATION Type : The valve system for controlling loudness in two modes. Material : Stainless Steel Pipe Diameter : 80mm to 4x70mm Tip Style : 4x120 mm Stainless floating curl tail with sand blast "ksg" logo mark. Valve Size : 70mm x 2 Valve Switch : Electric wired remote control switch Due to complexity of our system, we do not recommend to use in race application. SOUND STAGE The customer can choose different sound level when ordering an exhaust system. The standard settings are Level 1 for silent mode, and Level 3 for F1 Mode(Requires our Y pipe and Turbo Outlet pipe to achieve level 4 & 5) Level 1. Stock sound level. Level 2. Sportier sound level. Level 3. A high-pitched tone and loud F-1 sound of Sports muffler. Level 4. A high-pitched tone and very loud F-1 sound of Sports muffler.(Requires our Y-pipe) Level 5. Fast forward three years and we get the Bentley Hybrid Concept, Bentley’s first crack at a plug-in hybrid powertrain all wrapped up in the Mulsanne. But it won’t be the Mulsanne that sees a production version of the hybrid powertrain but, as expected, the new Bentley SUV.
Government checks Ford sedans for gas pedals trapped by floor mats
Tue, 01 Jun 2010The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into reports of accelerator pedals being trapped by floor mats in the Ford Fusion and Mercury Milan sedans. NHTSA says its probe covers about 249,000 cars from the 2010 model year. There have been three complaints about pedals being trapped by all-weather floor mats.
Toyota ordered by Japan to address Prius brake complaints
Wed, 03 Feb 2010Toyota Motor Corp., already grappling with recalls totaling 8.1 million vehicles on five continents, has been ordered by Japan's Ministry of Transportation to investigate a rash of consumer complaints about braking problems in its popular third-generation Prius hybrid vehicle. The Japanese carmaker has received several complaints about braking in the Prius in both Japan and North America since the end of last year, Toyota spokeswoman Ririko Takeuchi said. She did not say when the directive was issued or how Toyota would respond.
