Stig test drives motorway pub

The BBC has released a video of the Stig test driving Britain’s first motorway pub, presumably as a way of promoting its new series of Top Gear. The video shows the Stig pull up at Beaconsfield services in a Vauxhall Insignia, before entering the Hope and Champion pub and posing for photos, and then ordering a pint of beer. Police catch morning-after drivers

POLICE are catching more "morning after" drink-drivers, according to latest figures. The number of people arrested for drink-driving between 6am and 8am rose nearly 4% between 2011 and 2012, police statistics published by car insurance company LV showed. A further survey of 1,688 drivers showed that 3% had driven while over the legal limit the morning after a drinking session in the last two years.

Nissan Juke-R (2012) goes into production

  Nissan has announced that its Juke-R prototype will enter limited production on a build-to-order basis. Yes, really. The Juke-R is the result of the Nissan Europe Technical Centre in Cranfield teaming-up with UK motorsport engineering firm RML to stuff the powertrain of a Nissan GTR into a Nissan Juke bodyshell to create 'the world's fastest crossover'.
