Dacia Lodgy MPV ice racer (2011) first official pictures
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Strip away the ice-racing livery – this is being presented as Alain Prost's ice slider for the 2011-12 Trophee Andros – and this is the new Dacia Lodgy, as revealed in our artist's impression. That unusual name signifies the budget brand's new small MPV, which could come to the UK. We won't see the new Lodgy in roadgoing spec until spring 2012, but we hear it could join the Dacia Duster and Sandero when UK sales begin next year.
£500m scheme introduced to boost electric car ownership
Tue, 29 Apr 2014Newspress Deputy prime minister Nick Clegg is today launching a £500 million scheme to boost electric and hybrid car ownership in the UK. Perks for electric car drivers The funding will provide extra perks to encourage more drivers to trade in their old, conventionally powered cars for electric or hybrid vehicles. Councils will be able to apply for funding if they come up with plans to encourage people to ditch their petrol and diesel cars – for example, by offering free parking to electric vehicles and giving them the right to drive in bus lanes.
2014 Nissan Micra facelift revealed with March debut in Thailand
Mon, 25 Mar 2013A facelift for the 2014 Nissan Micra has been revealed with the debut of the new Nissan March in Thailand. So now Nissan are giving the Micra a bit of a facelift for the 2014 model year to breathe some new life in to sales, with the new Micra debuting as the new Nissan March in Thailand last week.
