The interior shapes, especially the critical radius leading into the carb or throttle body, have been carefully designed. The outer cover incorporates an additional scoop to direct air into a high-flow, washable foam filter element that seats snugly in the end of the round K&N filter element. This filter assembly is one of the best flowing on the market and is capable of supplying enough air to even the highest output street motors. The fontal opening is huge and as with all Hyperchargers, the vacuum operated butterflies allow almost unrestricted airflow to the filter under high-load riding situations.

Note: These kits contain an all-chrome Pro-R Hypercharger, mounting kit and carburetor jetting necessary for a complete sanitary installation.For optimum performance and driveability on fuel injected motorcycles, we strongly recommend use of the Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller (P/N 9218).

We recommend that aircleaner installation and jetting on the V Star be performed by a Yamaha Dealer or other qualified technician.

After the BRZ-STi of LA two weeks ago, the production car loses the iconic Subaru high-level rear wing and other ‘go-fast' parts for an aesthetic close to the production ‘86' from Toyota. The cars low front end, thanks to its low-mounted boxer engine, boasts flared arches whilst the DRG features a large grille and accompanying lower bumper vents that differ from the 86.
