YAMAHA ROAD STAR 1600 1700 (EXCLUDING WARRIOR)

The Pro Series Hypercharger was designed for massive air-hungry V-Twin mills that like alot of RPM's. If your motor needs air, here's the place to start. The inlet is cavernous. The filter area has been increased by a full 50%. Internal shapes have been tweaked to allow increased flow and velocity. The Pro has a look all its own. All edges are radiused for a more streamlined appearance and the artfully incorporated speed lines completes the picture of performance. Küryakyn strongly recommends recalibration of the ECM on all EFI models using a tool such as the Küryakyn Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller (P/N 9218) for Metric models, all sold separately.
These kits contain an air cleaner, mounting kit, & jetting necessary for carbureted models for complete installation. For optimum performance & driveability on fuel-injected motorcycles, we strongly recommend use of the Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller, P/N 9218. Adjusted fuel control is required when installed with non OEM exhaust. We also recommend that air cleaner installation & jetting on the V Star 1100 be performed by a Yamaha Dealer or other qualified technician

Hybrid owners sue Ford over Fusion, C-Max mpg claims

Wed, 24 Apr 2013

Pennsylvania car owners are suing Ford Motor Co., claiming that the 2013 Fusion hybrid and C-Max hybrid are not delivering on promised fuel-efficiency figures, according to a report from Bloomberg. Both hybrid models are advertised to return 47 mpg, but the owners say that number is inflated to seem more competitive among other midsize sedans, according to their court filing. The complaint says car owners who have submitted estimates to a fuel-economy tracking website averaged 38.5 mpg, a 10-mpg difference that can cost an additional $1,800 in fuel costs over five years, Bloomberg reports.

Tyre warning for drivers heading into Europe

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

BRITISH DRIVERS could face on the spot fines for using the wrong tyres when travelling in Europe this winter. Severe winter weather in many European countries means the normal summer tyres fitted to most UK cars will not offer enough grip for safe driving or braking in icy or snowy conditions. In Germany and some ski resorts, drivers are liable to on-the-spot fines if their car is not equipped with winter tyres or their car becomes stuck in slippery conditions due to the wrong tyres being fitted.
