Overall, the mirror head is about 3 inches x 4 inches with round glass 3 inches in diameter. The smoothly arched stem positions the center of the mirror head about 4-3/8 inches above and 5-1/2 inches outboard of the mounting point on the handlebar control. Adjustment mechanism is unlike anything out there; the swivel ball is captured between opposing pins. The pins are threaded to allow quick and easy tension adjustment.

And October has recorded a year on year increase of 31.6%, although total car sales are still down over 12% on 2008 figures. October saw a big rise in new cars sales to private buyers with sales rocketing by 86%, and there were rises in the fleet and business market.

A year ago we reported that China’s Geely had become the latest Chinese car maker to produce a complete rip-off clone of a Western car, in this case a clone of the Rolls Royce Phantom. The Geely ‘Phantom’ even sported a  single seat  ’Throne’ in the back so the owner could feel really important in his Chinese version of  a Western plutocrat’s carriage.
