New Hyundai i30 Premium launches

Hyundai has launched a new range-topping model for the i30 range – the Hyundai i30 Premium – with most of Hyundai’s extras as standard. The latest Hyundai i30 is a very good car indeed, far removed from the cheap and cheerful i30s that went before, offering good looks, decent ride and handling, a comprehensive 5 year warranty and is bolted together as well as any other car in its sector. Peugeot tease new sports saloon concept for Beijing Motor Show

Lurking under this cover is a new Peugeot Concept for the 2014 Beijing Motor Show Peugeot do good concepts, even if many don’t actually make it in to production. A case in point is the stunning Peugeot Onyx Concept we saw at the Paris Motor Show in 2012, which came with great styling, copper and carbon fibre bodywork, the use of unusual materials like crystal glass and compressed paper and a powertrain that used a 3.7 litre V8 at the back with an electric motor for added green credentials. Peugeot say their latest concept – which will debut at the Beijing Motor Show in April and is teased by the photo above – will use the same sort of innovative materials as the Onyx (which probably means it too will never see production) and preview the future of Peugeot’s styling.

Ford sends Mustang, Edge to Europe

Ford plans to export the Mustang to Europe, and it will likely be the next generation of the famous pony car due within a couple of years. It has also shown redesigned compact and full-size vans it will sell in the United States by 2014. The automaker also showed a lightly restyled Fiesta and a high-performance ST model that go on sale in Europe later this year.
