Their monotube configuration eliminates aeration and foaming, their micro-smooth, hard-chromed pistons extend their life, and their seamless cylinders and eyerings completely eliminate seam failures. New car sales still accelerating
Thu, 04 Sep 2014NEW CAR SALES raced ahead again last month, according to official figures. A total of 72,163 new vehicles were registered in August 2014 - a 9.4% rise on August 2013 and the 30th consecutive month of growth, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) said. Last month's figure took the year-to-date total to more than 1.53 million - a 10.1% rise on the total for the first eight months of 2013.
Tata ramps up production of Nano to boost slow sales
Thu, 25 Nov 2010Tata is cranking up supply of the Nano in India to counter sluggish sales. Until now, supply has been pretty limited with sales most months struggling to break beyond four figures; hardly the breakthrough expected from the widely hyped cheapest car in the world. A new plant in Sanand recently came on stream and it has a capacity of 250,000 cars a year.
Mercedes C-class Coupe (2011) first pictures

Due to be shown at the 2011 Geneva motor show, the new two-door C apes the larger CLS in style, yet is tipped to cost from £30,000 when sales start in June 2011. The C-class Coupe essentially slots in where the CLK left off.
