These KYB Gas-a-Just shocks use higher gas pressure to keep your tires glued to the road. The KYB Gas-a-Just shocks' velocity-sensitive valving system adjusts quickly to changing road conditions for maximum comfort in any situation. Their monotube configuration eliminates aeration and foaming, their micro-smooth, hard-chromed pistons extend their life, and their seamless cylinders and eyerings completely eliminate seam failures. These were meant to go on my 2002 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas, which I have sold. Certain to fit a wide range of additional cars and additional model years. Please check your application before bidding. Offered at a fraction of the current $300 retail price (for a pair) and NO RESERVEDelivery to addresses in the lower 48 United States only. Sorry, no exceptions. Winning bidder pays actual shipping, NO RIP OFFS ON SHIPPING WITH ME. NEVER HAVE BEEN NEVER WILL BE.  Be certain to look at my other auctions.

Lamborghini LP700-4 (2011): the rolling chassis

Wed, 23 Feb 2011

Lamborghini continues the long drip-feed on the new V12 supercar replacement for the Murcielago with this first picture of the carbonfibre rolling chassis. In this week's edition of motor show teaser photography, Lamborghini has started with a naked LP700-4 chassis, prior to next week's reveal of the fully clothed new V12 supercar.  You can clearly see the new pushrod suspension, the carbonfibre chassis, subframes snd the suitably enormous wheel and tyre package.    None at this point. CAR's Gavin Green has driven one of the prototypes (see the January 2011 edition) but it will be at next week's 2011 Geneva motor show where the world gets its first clear look at the new Lamborghini.

Nissan teases BladeGlider, minivans and sedans for Tokyo motor show

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Nissan lets us in on its Tokyo motor show plans on Thursday. The company will bring a handful of new and wild concept cars to the show, along with some old favorites like the GT-R and 370Z. The highlight of Nissan’s stand will be the BladeGlider concept, which looks like a cross between the BMW i8 and the DeltaWing race car.

Them's the Breaks: Mercedes concept name razes I browse

Wed, 21 Apr 2010

Yes, yes, we know. The Mercedes-Benz use of the term “Shooting Break” as the name for its latest concept vehicle is, well, it's just so wrong. The traditional, and most people would say correct, spelling is “shooting brake.” As AW's copy chief, I take this sort of thing very much to heart and felt moved to respond to the yowling of readers on our Web site.
