JLR Factory plans on track – Sunday Times story rejected
Mon, 19 Apr 2010JLR's UK restructuring is on track despite the stories in this weekend's press Back in September, JLR (Jaguar Land Rover) announced that it intended closing one of its Midlands factories as part of a long-term plan to breathe new life in to the future of JLR. We dutifully reported that but confess we took the easy ‘Bad News’ tack on the story. It was obvious; JLR are closing a factory ergo bad news.
Rolls-Royce debuts Ghost Series II at Geneva motor show
Tue, 04 Mar 2014The Rolls-Royce Ghost has been with us for five years, and for 2015 the company has treated the sedan to a number of design tweaks inside and out, and has brought the refreshed Series II Ghost to the Geneva Motor Show this week. The changes to the outside are hard to spot at first, and Rolls-Royce readily admits that the revisions that have been made to the exterior are rather subtle. By far the most obvious visual difference, one that will help identify this as a Series II sedan, are the headlights which have been treated to a redesign, and are no longer perfectly rectangular.
Mercedes-Benz SLC supercar spied on the road
Wed, 28 Jan 2009There is life after the SLR for Mercedes, and spy shooters have caught plastic-clad versions of the new SLC that's due for 2011. We've seen this car before, but it continues to make us lick our chops. Previous shots showed gullwings, which these prototypes appear to have, though the doors are closed.
