Auctions listed could be an open/sealed/used or a returned product from a Major Retailer. Quantity auction items are in great to excellent used cosmetic condition, but could or could not have  handling scuffs/marks, items may have been used briefly, but each item is inspected before shipment to fall into that great to excellent condition category, and if item is clearly used with complete visible flaws it will not be shipped out to you, instead it will be placed in a completely different auction with condition clearly stated.(This only occurs in a auction were there is more then 1 in quantity available to purchase). All single item auctions are inspected prior to listing so we can list any imperfections and give detailed condition. For Electronics, we try and test products that we are capable of. Those we do not test we do not have the equipment to test that particular item. If it is un-tested we will state in auction. In regards to the un-tested items: we can not guarantee that the item will function at the time you receive it, but just let us know of any problems, so we can work with you on giving you the best customer service. All items in our auctions could have distressed retail packaging (rips/tears/peeling box/stapled package and or taped together). In Regards to instructions, box, parts and any extra accessories with each item or items listed, we will take photos of what the item comes with. If you just see the item alone in the photos there will be no box, instructions, or any other accessories that might of come with it originally. On large quantity lots we will state you may or may not receive any of those items previously stated. If item is stated new in package/box, or item is still sealed from manufacturer we do not un-seal new products and like purchasing at a large retail store, the item could be defective even if it is sealed. Again contact us so we can take care of any problems. Apple CarPlay arrives to take over your car’s Infotainment Apple’s bid to take a major slice of the Automotive integration with Smartphones market moves on with the arrival of Apple CarPlay at the Geneva Motor Show this week It looks like Apple have stolen a march on Android with deep integration in to the Infotainment systems of a number of car makers – with more to come – as the lines start to be blurred between Smartphones and car systems. CarPlay lets drivers with the right phone – iPhone 5 or better – access messages, play music, use Apple Maps and make calls, all hands-free and using Siri commands. Functionality with the right make of car – starting with Ferrari, Mercedes and Volvo but reaching out in to Jaguar Land Rover, BMW, Hyundai Kia, Honda, PSA, Toyota, Ford and more before long – means you’ll be able to do much of what you can already do on your iPhone but do it through your car’s Infotainment interface with familiar commands and screen layouts.

The new Renault Megane Sport Tourer arrives in UK showrooms today To our eyes the Megane Sport tourer is a pretty good looking car. It follows the fashion for swoopy estates and does a convincing job of turning the Megane in to a load carrier without making it look as of Renault have just bolted a pile of sheet metal at the back. The Sport Tourer comes in a bewildering array of 21 different models across four trim levels – Expression, Dynamique, TomTom Edition and Privilège.

Honda cutting production in Swindon again – 500 jobs at risk

Honda is cutting another 500 jobs in Swindon It’s only a year since Honda announced 800 job cuts at Swindon (which eventually was 550) and now they’re about to cut a further 500 as weak demand – particularly in Europe – sees the Swindon plant producing just half the cars it could. The plan is to cut shifts from 3 to 2 a day, which will result in the loss of 340 permanent jobs and 160 temporary ones, and production will be centred on just one production line to increase efficiency and flexibility. The Swindon Plant – which builds the Civic, Civic Tourer, CR-V and Jazz (and the Civic Type-R from next year) – has been hard hit by the slump in European sales in the last five years and, despite still strong UK sales, production levels of 120,000 cars a year – just half of the Swindon capacity – are not enough to sustain the current staffing levels.
