Phenolic and aluminum intercooler. Designed for Eaton gen 3 superchargers on series 2 GM 3800 L67 cars INCLUDING HOLDEN COMMODORE 

2.25 thick with 1-1/2" phenolic material in the middle to prevent heat soak into superchargers. 

PCV system is fully functional and lower intake manifold does not need modified. (Only full size intercooler available with fully functional PCV without modifications). Lower intake can be enlarged for best air flow but is not required. 

Requires modified fuel rails to clear supercharger once lifted. 

Includes supercharger bolts for installation. Does not include the pump, hoses, and front mount heat exchanger. Unit comes sealed and ready to install.

Besides the freshened look, the big news is that Ford's full-size SUV now comes only with the F Series' 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine like its recently announced Lincoln Navigator sibling. At about 370 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, the twin-turbo V6 delivers more power than Ford's ancient 5.4-liter V8 (310 hp, 365 lb ft).

The Audi A3 family has another America-bound variant: the automaker announced at the New York auto show that a diesel-powered Audi A3 Sportback TDI will go on sale here in 2015. Previously, we were told that the plug-in hybrid version of the vehicle -- the so-called Audi A3 Sportback e-tron -- would be the only one to make it to American markets. According Audi, it was enthusiast demand that spurred the change.

September sales hint at improvement

A 10 percent increase in new-vehicle sales in September is sparking optimism that the year will have a strong finish. And analysts say that deals might get better over the next few months as Toyota and Honda finally recover from shortages caused by the earthquake that hit Japan in March. Those brands might increase spending on incentives to woo buyers back into their showrooms.
