Vintage 1970s Lakewood Explosion-proof Scattershield Manual Transmission Clutch Safety Bellhousing for 390 - 428 C.I. Big Block Ford FE Motors.  It has been in storage since it was removed from the car in the mid 1970s.  I can't find the block plate but its available all over for under $100.  This was in near perfect condition but had scuffs and scratches from being moved through the decades so I just media blasted it to the bare metal and checked it for cracks and damage; it's 100% PERFECT and rings like a bell and the vibration lasts like a tuning fork!  I immediately shot it with a coat of etching primer to keep it from flash rusting and its ready for paint.  Was originally Lakewood red but you may want to paint it Ford blue to match your motor so I'm leaving it for you to do.  Pix show it in bare steel after blasting (light gray) and in primer (darker gray) as it sits now.  This was made before they welded on the inspection certification tags.  The original was a silver metal foil sticker which had partially torn off over time and there wasn't enough of it to get a legible pic.  There was Lakewood 15210 written in marker on it but no other id marks.  I checked that number and it came up fitting Ford FE Big Block 390 - 428 CI engines but I'm not familiar with them as I'm a Chevy guy.  I bought it from a friend along with a bunch of VINTAGE SPEED PARTS including a VINTAGE Edelbrock 6X2 intake manifold which was removed from the same engine this was on.  I included a pic of the intake so you can determine if its correct for your engine but it is NOT included in this auction.  The Edelbrock manifold part number is ML F68 which fits the same engines the number written on this.  Although I don't know much about Fords and didn't take them off the car myself, I'm confident this is what I'm listing it as since everything matches up.  That said, its up to YOU to determine if this is correct for your application and I am more than happy to send you more pix, take measurements or anything else that will help you decide.  I will also take returns for ANY reason (even if you just decide you don't want it when it arrives) but you pay the shipping.
IF you are local to 07481 NJ (I'm just 17 miles from NYC) you are welcome to pick up in person and pay COD to save shipping.

2013 Rolls Royce Ghost updates

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

Three years on from the launch of a Rolls Royce for owner drivers – the RR Ghost – Rolls Royce has made some updates for 2013. Believe it or not, it’s three years since the Rolls Royce Ghost arrived at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show as a more ‘Sporty’ take on the RR ethos and aimed at owner-drivers; the sort of chap who’s outgrown big Mercedes and BMW but still likes to drive. Three years on from launch, we’re still waiting for RR to deliver a Ghost Coupe (perhaps the Corniche?) and a Ghost DHC, so when we saw an email from Rolls Royce with 2013 updates we got quite excited.

Ford Focus ST facelift (2007): first official pictures

Fri, 09 Nov 2007

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 09 November 2007 11:45 Facelifted Ford Focus ST: the first pictures Yesterday Ford announced the run-out ST500 special edition of the old Focus, today it's shown the new one.We saw the revised Focus at this autumn's Frankfurt Motor Show, but Ford only teased us with humdrum models. Now the Blue Oval has released the first details of the new ST, with a refreshed look to emphasise its sporty position at the top of the Focus tree.So there's a new bumper, much shallower grille and more rectangular, swept-back headlamps at the front, giving a more techincal look. The rear has been refreshed, too, but the changes are less noticeable.
