Interior Motives announces shortlist for Student Design Awards 2009
Tue, 04 Aug 2009Interior Motives magazine, sister publication of Car Design News, has revealed its shortlist for the seventh annual Interior Motives Design Awards. Handed down by a ten-strong panel of industry experts, the shortlist will be further reviewed before three finalists and a winner for each of the eight categories - and the overall competition winner - is ultimately selected and awarded on the eve of the second press day of the Frankfurt auto show. Mercedes-Benz A-class patent renderings leaked
Fri, 13 May 2011Mercedes-Benz unveiled a three-door concept version of its 2012 A-class at the New York and Shanghai auto shows in April, and images of a possible production model leaked this week via the European Patent Office. The renderings show a five-door hatchback version of the A-class concept with less aggressive styling. Its world premiere is said to be scheduled for the Frankfurt motor show in September.

Two-door Ones and Threes - the coupes and convertibles - will in future be rebadged as the BMW 2-series and BMW 4-series. Why exactly are they rebadging BMWs as 2-series and 4-series?
