Lakewood 40522 2010-2013 RF Chevy Camaro Twin Tube Drag Shock/Strut 70/30 Series

Lakewood combined their experience and the latest technology in drag racing to develop shocks and struts that are superior to all other drag shocks and struts available. They will provide the correct weight transfer on the initial launch and then bring the front-end down quickly for aerodynamic purposes. This transfer will result in lower ETs and keep the rear-end loaded for maximum traction.

Citroen Survolt (2010) at the Geneva motor show

Tue, 02 Mar 2010

Citroen had a genuine surprise at the 2010 Geneva motor show – the sleek Survolt sports car concept. Well, the pair shared the same rotating plinth on Citroen’s stand but that’s about it. Whereas the Revolte concept (revealed at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show) was a plug-in hybrid supermini, the Survolt is an all-electric sports car.

2012 SEAT Exeo get a tweak for Frankfurt

2012 SEAT Exeo gets the smallest of tweaks Our instinct is to call the changes to the 2012 SEAT Exeo – SEAT’s take on the Audi A4 – a 2012 facelift. But we decided there rally isn’t enough going on for that. Perhaps we should say the Exeo has had a facial peel or a bit of botox for 2012, as that seems a bit closer to the reality.

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive (2011) first pictures

Thu, 10 Feb 2011

This gorgeous two-seat roadster is the BMW Vision ConnectedDrive, set to be unveiled at the 2011 Geneva motor show. Unlike some of BMW’s other Vision-tagged concept cars, this unfortunately isn’t a thinly disguised production car, but a study designed to highlight the company’s driver assistance systems.  However, although BMW has released no details on the engine or layout under the sexy skin, thankfully the Vision ConnectedDrive’s stunning styling (including the shark nose, wrap-around rear lights and layered body) will find its way onto future production BMWs.  For a start sensors in the headlamps and rear lights monitor the traffic situation and the environment around the car, while instead of wing mirrors there are antennas that receive navigation data and transmit other information. Inside the driver has a 3D head-up display, and the system can project information about the chosen sat-nav route so it appears at the exact point of a possible turn-off. The 3D system also displays information in the foreground or background of the display depending on its relevance.
