This is a listing for a set of 4 brand new Land Rover Black and Chrome centercaps for the all new Range Rovers.  These are GENUINE caps with the part number and manufacture date stamp on the back as well as the black band that circles the side (pictured).  These are a fantastic upgrade for any LR2, LR3, LR4, RRS or RR.  If you have a set of black factory wheels these are a must have.  They also look really great on standard wheels as the chrome matches the factory lug nuts perfectly.  All 6 prongs on the rear of each cap are in perfect condition (so they will not fall off after you put them on).  The fronts are lightly scratched due to shipping but overall show extremely well.  This is a Genuine Land Rover part (part #RRJ000010XXX) and measures 2 1/2" in diameter.  If you need additional pictures or information, please let me know.  As always, double check the part number against your truck to make sure they will fit.  They are boxed up and ready to go for immediate shipment.  I will pack them in bubble wrap to ensure they arrive in great shape.  Thanks for looking and please check out my other items.

Nissan Motor Co. plans to bolster the warranty of the battery module in its electric Leaf to reassure consumers of its durability. The company intends to notify current owners and dealers early next year that it will make the warranty retroactive to cover all existing Leafs, offering to repair or replace the car’s lithium-ion battery if it loses more than 30 percent of its ability to hold a charge after five years or 60,000 miles.

Wed, 02 May 2012

Mercedes C 63 AMG Coupé drifting at Laguna Seca To celebrate 2 million views on their YouTube Channel, AMG has taken a C 63 AMG Coupe for a bit of a blat round the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca. Car makers are slowly waking up to the joys of the Interweb as a way to promote their wares, and they’re all busy feeding their Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and YouTube channels with new content to keep fans amused. It’s never exactly the most unbiased content so it often needs taking with a pinch of Maldon’s finest, but YouTube, in particular, gives car makers the chance to showcase their cars in action, and if they can do that and makes ‘fans’ feel a part of it, so much the better.
