This is a listing for a set of 4 brand new Land Rover Black and Chrome centercaps. These are GENUINE new style caps with the part number and manufacture date stamp on the back. These are a fantastic upgrade for any LR2, LR3, LR4, RRS or RR. If you have a set of black factory wheels these are a must have. They also look really great on standard wheels as the chrome matches the factory lug nuts perfectly. All 6 prongs on the rear of each cap are in perfect condition (so they will not fall off after you put them on). The fronts are lightly scratched due to shipping but overall show extremely well. This is a Genuine Land Rover part (part #RRJ000010XXX) and measures 2 1/2" in diameter. If you need additional pictures or information, please let me know. The new reasonably priced car is in action for the first time as film director Ron Howard – who’s just done Rush, which chronicles the rivalry between James Hunt and Niki Lauder during the 1976 F1 season – gets behind the wheel of the Vauxhall Astra to set a lap, talk about cars and his new film. Jeremy Clarkson gets to play with the stunning Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which with 731bhp, 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph should induce more than a grin or two from Jezza as he takes to the roads of Scotland.
New Range Rover Hybrid targeted at Europe: Frankfurt 2013
Wed, 11 Sep 2013The new Range Rover Hybrid (pictured) has diesel power to target Europe It’s not the biggest news at Frankfurt, but the arrival of the Range Rover Hybrid and Range Rover Sport Hybrid is big news for Land Rover, and for buyers running cars who are subject to taxation on benefits. Surprisingly, Land Rover has gone the diesel route with the hybrid, coupling the 3.0 litre diesel engine to a 46bhp electric motor which, when working together, offers the same sort of performance as the V8 diesel engine but with much better economy and emissions – 44mpg and 169g/km. Logic would perhaps have dictated that the new hybrid should have a petrol engine, rather than a diesel, as the biggest hybrid markets in the world – the US and China – have no real appetite for diesel engines.
