For Sale is a Used 1.2 ratio LT230 Transfer Case that fits the 90 110, 130 Defender Style Vehicles, the Range Rover Classic, and the Discovery I. It was removed from a 1996 Discovery TDI. If you make arrangements, we'll drop off at any local shipper including Fastenal who will move it to any Fastenal Store for local pickup. We included a $100 shipping fee. If you pay the shipping, we'll refund the entire amount. If you go Fastenal, we can pre pay and will refund any over payment. But none of the cars tested could manage more than three stars for pedestrian protection. Daihatsu's Materia supermini and, surprisingly, the Honda Civic trailed the pack with only four stars for occupant safety, but the Merc C-class, Renault Laguna, Volvo V70 and – impressively – the tiny Mazda 2 all came out with the top score.

Poor old Lexus; they tried so hard. Yes, we had the LF-Gh Concept to base our expectations on (although the reality rarely meets the expectations a concept creates) so we had an idea Lexus were getting a bit bolder with the GS.

The inexorable rise and rise of car insurance premiums is a fact of life, and will continue until government gets a handle on ambulance-chasing lawyers and the UK’s idiotic whiplash claims industry. But if you’re looking to find a way to cut your insurance premiums, then having a ‘Black ‘Box’ fitted to your car to monitor your driving so you get charged for how much – and how well – you drive looks a promising idea.
