This transmission and transfer case is off a 1973 Landcruiser FJ40 Cruiser.  The cruiser fell off a car carrier when being delivered (when brand new) and the roof was crushed.  The owner took delivery of the FJ and somewhat repaired the roof.  After driving it what we estimate to be well under 10k miles, it was parked in a storage garage and dismantled for body repair but never reassembled.  This tranny/transfer case still shows the factory white paint used to designate grease fittings, this has not been painted or altered to cover up anything - it is exactly as taken from the garage.  It appears to be in good working order.  Shipping will be $150.00.  Call or write if you have questions before bidding (607)829-6315 8am to 8pm Eastern Daylight Time.  Zero feedback bids will be canceled unless you contact us ahead of time.  Paypal within 3 days or cash in hand if local pick up.  NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PLEASE.

Good fun at Goodwood

Tue, 06 Jul 2010

The 2010 Goodwood Festival of Speed started with a bang--and a bent Jaguar E-Type. But by the end of the weekend, the festival was being acclaimed by both fans and participants as one of the most successful runnings of the annual event so far. As always, the festival took place at the house and grounds of Lord March's sizeable estate in West Sussex, England, being extended to four days this year by the addition of a new “Moving Motorshow.” This is clearly intended to become a regular fixture and a replacement for Britain's cancelled “International” motor show.
