Land Cruiser Front Disc Brake Shield Set (Backing Plates)

Removed from a 1980 FJ60 but will fit other FJ models.  Buyer responsible for determining fit.

These were sandblasted down to bare metal to remove dirt, rust, and other assorted grime.

There is some rust pitting, however nothing that affects the functionality (see photos).

When installed on the vehicle, the pitted areas should not be visible.

Once cleaned up they were primed and then repainted gloss black.

New stainless steel hardware was used to reattach the side scoops.

The brackets to attach the brake lines are also included although you'll have to supply the hardware.

SOR wants $95 for just one of these out of their parts bin in who knows what kind of condition.

Brand new ones list for over $180 each!

These are ready to install and go!

(I'm just saying!)

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

Weather, crashes, traffic and attitude--these are the things that make our commutes unbearable. Now, the RoadIntel.com Web site has ranked cities based on its "road frustration index." The index is based on how weather affects the roads, the amount of traffic, the number of crashes and driver sentiment, which is calculated by searching for keywords such as "traffic jam" and "stuck" on Twitter. On the site, you can look at cities ranked day by day and even hour by hour.
