As I've said in my other auctions, I'm clearing closets and trying to put together cash for a new bike. Well, don't really want to (cause it's a perfect color match for my Guzzi!) but don't wear it as much as my Langlitz Columbia so here it is:

Rare Langlitz Leathers 2 Piece Race Suit. You can zip off the jacket and just ride in that or zip them up together and be the retro racer you want to be. The nicest thing about these is unlike the race jackets I've seen sell lately they don't have some other guys name stitched on them. These were made in april 1984 for a guy that if I remember correctly from when I looked him up, was a fairly successful racer. His bio is below.

The guy shown in the pictures is 5'5" 150 lbs. The measurements are:

Shoulder to shoulder - 18"
Shoulder to cuff - 24"
Underarm to underarm - 20.5"
Top of collar to bottom measured in back - 22"

Waist across laying flat - 16"
Inseam - 26 3/4"

9" zippers at ankles
Knee Pads
Elbow Pads
Shoulder Pads

All zips work perfect and pretty sure this is Goat because it's so nice, light, and very supple. Please email me if you have questions.

Bio on the guy they were originally made for:

He started racing Go-Karts around the age of 8.  He crewed for many teams in the '70s and early '80s in SCCA Nationals, Trans-AM and IMSA GTU, campaigning BMW's, Datsun 510's and Z cars.  He also campaigned his own 510 in B-sedan during that time.

Steve has road raced, motocross and flat tracked motorcycles.  Steve and his dad build their own race cars from the frame up (including the frame)!

Steve has raced SCCA Nationals and Nasport in GT4 and GT5.  He won the NorPac Divisional Championship in '90, '91, '92, '93.  He was Nasport GT4 champion in 1993.
2009 SCCA Oregon Region Champion in a '71 240Z.
2010 SCCA NorPac Divisional Champion in a '74 260Z.

Mercedes at 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed – includes SLS AMG Black Series debut

Sat, 13 Jul 2013

The Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series (pictured) debuts at 2013 Goodwood FoS In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s the Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend and car makers are out in force with their fastest supercars and classics. Mercedes always offer a decent show at Goodwood and this year is no different, with the UK dynamic debut for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, which will be strutting its stuff all weekend up the hillclimb. At the other end of the performance range, the Mercedes A45 AMG is also in action showing the crowds just what 360bhp in a compact hatch can do with its runs up the hillclimb.

New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track (video)

New Porsche Panamera GTS takes to the track The new Porsche Panamera GTS is the latest Panamera variant to arrive – the ninth Panamera, no less – and is, as all Porsche GTS models are, a harder-edged take on the more mainstream variants. With its naturally aspirated 4.8 litre V8 producing 425bhp, and pushing those horses through a PDK ‘box to all four wheels, the Panamera can scoot to 62mph in a very respectable 4.5 seconds on its way to a top speed of 179mph. Not bad for a big saloon car that eschews forced induction and can carry proper-sized passengers in comfort.

Renault Clio Expression Eco: A perfect commuter car

Sun, 15 May 2011

Renault Clio Expression Eco - makes any electric car seem profligate We hear so much about how electric cars make the perfect commuter car. They can manage to do a fifty or sixty mile round trip a day, don’t need a tax disc and – for those going in to London every day – there’s no congestion charge to pay. There’s also the negligible cost of electricity to charge the car (for now, at least) and the zero emissions at the point of use.
