Lotus Electric City Car Revealed

Just 8’6″ long and 5’3″ wide, it is a Toyota iQ type vehicle – but smaller – and has the iQ’s 3+1 interior configuration. And it’s designed to be purely an urban car – something for popping to the shops and doing local errands.

So the Toyota FT-EV II is exactly what Toyota believes the EV future is – a small, slow city car. As with the Hyundai ix35, the Kia Sportage is leaps and bounds on from the old car. Its design language, which comes from the guidance of former Audi designer Peter Schreyer, is as competent and as effective as anything from Europe or Japan.
