Chevrolet Volt leads satisfaction survey
Thu, 01 Dec 2011The Chevrolet Volt plug-in hybrid has topped Consumer Reports' latest owner-satisfaction survey after its first year on the market. The magazine said 93 percent of respondents who own a Volt said they would definitely purchase one again, making it the highest-rated car in the annual poll. Two second-place finishers, the V8-powered Dodge Challenger and the Porsche 911, drew the most-favorable grade from 91 percent of buyers.
Petrol prices reach three-year low

But the good news for drivers is offset by a real-terms dip in earnings which has pushed wages back to 2002 levels adjusting for inflation, the AA added. Petrol forecourt prices across the UK averaged 129.46p a litre in mid March compared to 129.63p in mid February.
Infiniti hybrid carries $54,575 sticker price
Wed, 23 Feb 2011Infiniti has set a base price of $54,575, including shipping charges, on the 2012 M hybrid sedan. The luxury division of Nissan said the car will go on sale on March 16. The Infiniti M hybrid's powertrain mates a 302-hp, 3.5-liter V6 with a 67-hp electric motor.
