The scheme aims to offer new car buyers a guaranteed trade-in against a new, cleaner car of £2,000. But it is being suggested that the Government will insist that car manufacturers chip in half this money, with the tax payer paying the other half.

Audi’s A1 was only officially unveiled at the 2010 Geneva motor show, but such is the plethora of new Ingolstadt product on the way that an A1 E-tron electric concept shared the stage with the production supermini. Also on display was the new A8 Hybrid. The first picture of Lee Noble's Fenix Supercar Back in November we brought you news of eponymous supercar maker Lee Noble’s return to the world of high performance cars with his new company – Fenix Automotive. Lee had left the company that bears his name, but was obviously itching to get back to the fray with a car that reflects the great Noble’s of the past – including the very successful M12. The old Noble company has headed upmarket with its latest offering – the Noble M600 – but Lee intends the new supercar from Fenix to be a more affordable proposition – around £70k.
