Land Rover triggers rumours of ‘Landy’ SUV
Wed, 22 Jan 2014Jaguar Land Rover has trademarked the name ‘Landy’, sparking more rumours of a smaller urban SUV based on the Evoque. The new model could possibly feature styling similar to the DC100 concept, and will be a rival to the likes of the BMW X1 and upcoming Audi Q1. Kia Sedona suits up for New York auto show
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Kia teased its new Sedona minivan on Thursday, a week before it debuts at the New York auto show. We instantly noticed its new sheetmetal duds, which are a long way from the plain-Jane style of the old car. Information is scarce for now, but Kia did say the MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) will ride on a new chassis powered by Kia's 3.3-liter direct-injected V6.

Replacing the current Bluemotion model, the Mk2 Bluemotion is powered by a 110bhp 2.0-litre common rail diesel that’s been recalibrated with a lower idle rate and fitted with a switchable start/stop system to cut emissions and boost economy. When it arrives here in January, the Passat will post a combined economy figure of 57.6mpg and a CO2 rating of 128 g/km - useful savings compared to the outgoing 1.9-litre 105bhp BlueMotion model (55.4mpg and 136 g/km).
