Ford Focus - 1,500,000 sold in the UK Ford has revealed that the 1,500,000th Ford Focus has rolled out since its launch in 1998 heading for Essex cricketer Jaik Mickleburgh. Ford are shouting about the Focus’s achievements – quite rightly – and have sent the landmark Focus to Essex cricketer Jaik Mickleburgh, no doubt as part of Ford’s ongoing sponsorship of Essex cricket.

Canadian Grand Prix: Vettel takes pole ahead of Hamilton

Hamilton’s Mercedes (pictured) is in 2nd place for tomorrow’s Canadian Grand Prix Lewis Hamilton may have managed to make it four front rows in a succession, but it’s Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel who has taken pole position in a rain soaked Montreal for tomorrow’s 2013 F1 Canadian Grand Prix. Early on in qualifying Hamilton and Rosberg dominated in the Mercedes, but the Red Bulls started to show their pace and in Q2 they were at the top of the leaderboard. Felipe Massa managed to crash in Q2 and Button, held up in the pit lane whilst the accident was cleared, couldn’t manage to get across the start-finish line in time to do another lap, crashing out in Q2 and 12th palce on tomorrow’s grid.

This is the new Lexus GS, which has just been revealed at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, USA. Presumably the new Lexus GS is clean and green? Well, yes, but much of the official Lexus press release is filled with phrases like ‘improved driving dynamics’ and ‘packed with innovative performance’, but no mention is made of fuel consumption or emission figures.
