Smart Forvision concept (2011) first official pictures

Smart will show this Fortwo design study at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. Called – futuristically enough – the Smart Forvision concept car, it's a good stab at what 2014's new Fortwo could look like. It's brimming with the sort of tech designed to keep the Fortwo's eco credentials alive and kicking.

£2m McLaren P1 GTR for Pebble Beach

McLaren McLaren will show its new P1 GTR – pictured here for the first time in an official teaser shot above – at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance car show next month. The P1 GTR will feature a number of circuit-biased modifications – including a 1,000hp engine – and will cost £1.98 million. Pforzheim University Summer Show 2008

Transportation Design students at Germany's Pforzheim University displayed their work in the school's summer degree show held in July, one of two graduation shows per year. The exhibition included work from graduating Diploma and Masters students, a Honda project by MA students, and exterior and interior projects by the 4th, 5th and 7th semester students. The show was held in conjunction with the biennial International Design Forum at the Pforzheim Congress Center.
