Is your motor actually faulty?
If your boards retract with the help of your foot, its a sure sign that its NOT your motor that's faulty.

If the board is trying to retract, and actually does when you help it with your foot, then take some time to clean and lube the pivot points.
There are 4 pivot points on each and blast them liberally.
A new, full can of WD40 with the straw attached has good 'blasting' effect.
Cycle the boards up and down a few times (may still need help retracting) then do it again.
It's tough to get into the pin/sleeve but eventually it will work it's way in there.

Is it compatible?
Please check that your connector is the same as in picture #2
This motor will only fit the 119" wheelbase vehicle.
Your shaft length should be 120mm (4 3/4")
