Additional information on the v12.1 update may be found in the “Map Content” and “Points of Interest” tab.

Due to numerous changes throughout the United States and portions of Canada is it not possible to identify every improvement. Please refer to the Release Notes, Map Content and Points of Interest section of this website to review changes made from the prior version.
5.
Input for the following release in the fall is generally closed in September of the prior calendar year. For example, the information to be included on the Ver. 13.1 updates was closed in September 2012. Which Update to Purchase
1.
Select the “What to Order” tab in this website. Lexus vehicles and the applicable map update will be listed by navigation GEN (hardware used by your vehicle).
2.
The term “GEN” refers to the hardware in your vehicle. As successive versions of navigation hardware are introduced in Lexus vehicles a new “GEN” is launched. A vehicle’s “GEN” of hardware never changes. For example if your vehicle is a GEN4 vehicle it will always be a GEN4 vehicle.

4.
Lexus sources its map information from more than one supplier. Additionally, Lexus validates the information it obtains for its annual updates. Many suppliers of handheld devices do not go through a validation process.
Maps for Other Countries
1.
The navigation hardware used in other countries is different from that used for Lexus vehicles manufactured for sale in the United States. The DVDs and USB keys for other countries are not compatible with the hardware in U.S. specification vehicles.

Coverage for Mexico is not currently available.
Reporting Map Errors
1.
Please report your feedback using the “Submit Feedback” tab in this website. http://lexusnavigation.com/index.php

Error correction is a matter of timing within the normal map database development process. The time can range anywhere from several months to almost two years.

Lexus still makes map hard drives for 1998 to 2000 model year vehicles available through an exchange program through your Lexus dealer. VW Tiguan R-Line Review

Wed, 21 Oct 2009

The Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line When VW called and asked us if we’d like a Tiguan R-Line for a few days to see what we thought, we had to ponder on which of us would test it. Unlike many ‘R’ VWs, the Tiguan isn’t endowed with more power. It doesn’t – for example – sport the nice meaty lump from the Golf R or even the mildest of power mods.

Jaguar SUV / Crossover – new photo ahead of reveal

Sat, 07 Sep 2013

The second photo of the new Jaguar Crossover Jaguar started teasing their new Crossover - codenamed C-X17 – just last week, but we’ve already had the first leaked photo of the new SUV from Jaguar. That photo was just a full on front shot which told us not much more than that the new crossover stands taller than any other Jaguar and comes with a familiar – if slightly more butch – take on Jaguar’s family nose. But now we get a second photo of the new SUV ahead of its debut at Frankfurt next week (which turned up on ImageShack), and this time it’s a front three quarters profile showing us much more clearly what the new Jaguar has to offer.
