Up for sale is the ashtray from my 2001 LS430. It was never used (for smoking). It is in excellent used condition. No scratches, dings, marks or imperfections of any kind. This is a simple plug-in and bolt-on install.
This unit will fit all Lexus LS430 2001-2006 years. The number 574142-0030 is stamped on the bottom.
The wood color is Dark Brown. Color/Trim Code 27 or 29. To verify your car's trim color, look at the Color/Trim Code (C/TR XXX-XXXX) label on the driver's door jam. An example for this number is: C/TR - 1CO/LG29. The last two digits is the color code. If your last two digits are 27 or 29, this is an exact match (Dark Brown).
For reference purposes, other 2001-2006 LS430 C/TR codes are:
- Light Brown - 00, 07, 08
- Medium Brown - 04, 1#, 21, 24, 25
- Dark Brown - 27, 29 (this unit)

Upgraded Ford MyKey blocks explicit satellite radio channels
Wed, 29 Dec 2010Teenage radio listeners might have to look somewhere else besides the family Ford for the Playboy channel or Howard Stern. The new generation of Ford's programmable MyKey system will let parents block "explicit" radio channels on the Sirius/XM satellite service in their cars. That would cover Playboy's and Stern's channels, as well as more than a dozen music channels, such as rapper Eminem's Shade 45 and the hard-rock Boneyard.

Jaguar Land Rover create 700 more jobs at new engine plant
Tue, 05 Mar 2013Jaguar Land Rover has announced that they are creating an additional 700 jobs – double the original – at their new engine plant in Wolverhampton. Back in 2011, we revealed that Jaguar Land Rover were planning a new facility on the i54 development in Wolverhampton to build engines for their cars, removing the reliance on Ford’s (excellent) engines in the process. That investment was to be £335 million with 700 new jobs created in Wolverhampton – and more than 2,000 in the supply chain – but it seems that’s not going to be enough with Jaguar Land Rover sales continuing to grow at a great rate of knots.
