The Mayor was speaking at Transport for London's 'New Taxis for London', an event where he met five manufacturers currently developing vehicles designed to meet the new requirements. Boris Johnson has previously pledged to make the capital an Ultra Low Emission Zone by 2020, although some have argued that it needs to come sooner than that.

Range Rover Evoque launches in India at £60,000

Sun, 06 Nov 2011

Range Rover Evoque launches in India Yes, a starting price of around £60k for a Range Rover Evoque in India seems rather steep (and that’s plus Octroi – local sales tax). After all, in the UK you can jump in to an Evoque from a shade under £28k (for the 2WD Evoque eD4 Pure), and even the top of the range Evoque Si4 Dynamic with an auto ‘box comes in at just £40k (until you dive in to the options, and then it’ll be nearer £50k). So what’s going on with the Evoque in India?

Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible (2010): first official pictures

Wed, 17 Feb 2010

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 17 February 2010 10:46 Bentley today opened up its new Continental Supersports Convertible – the soft-top version of the E85-swilling Supersports coupé. It's the fastest rag-top ever to roll out of Crewe's gates, hitting 60mph in 3.9sec and 202mph flat out.The four-seater Conti Supersports Convertible follows closely the format of the 2009 coupé and arrives as Bentley has extended the Supersports' E85 diet across the entire 2011 model year Continental range. It's all part of Bentley's pledge to have every model biofuel-compatible by 2012, a key plank in its bid to make Bentleys acceptable in a carbon-crunched world.
