Liquid Glass. The Ultimate Polish/Finish.
The Car Collector's and Customer's Choice.

16 oz. Liquid Glass Polish

This amazing special formula makes it possible to coat your vehicle with a clear, hard, smooth, and mirror-like finish with a minimum of effort. The finish will not crack, chip, peel, or turn yellow. Liquid Glass is safe for use on today's clearcoats, gelcoats, acrylics, metalflakes, candy apples, pearls, plastic paints, epoxies, urethanes, etc. Also does an excellent job on chrome, aluminum, stainless steel, brass, etc.

Use on automobiles, trucks, vans, RV's, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Provides excellent protection against normal road, atmospheric, and other sources of pollution, dirt, etc. Retards oxidation of painted metals and fiberglass. Also use on aircraft to protect, keep clean, and reduce surface friction. It also has hundreds of uses in and around the home, (for example, Formica, ceramic tile, jewelry, glass, sporting and camping equipment, etc.)

Liquid Glass Auto Polish/Finish Application Instructions

Before using, shake can well! The surface must be clean and dry. All wax residue on vehicles should be removed. We recommend the use of Liquid Glass Pre-Cleaner. Our Pre-Cleaner will ensure optimum results by prepping/cleaning dull, stained, oxidized, or previously waxed surfaces, thus enabling the Liquid Glass Polish/Finish to adhere better to the applied surface.

Apply Liquid Glass sparingly, but evenly, using a coarse cotton cloth in a straight back and forth movement. Apply one section at a time. The ideal applied surface temperature should be between 50 and 80 degrees. (If any paint color appears on the cloth, it is oxidized paint that must be removed to reveal the good paint layer beneath.) After a haze appears on the surface, wipe off with a clean, dry cloth. Terry cloth or Turkish towel may be used.

For best results, allow at least four hours between coats to permit "curing." When finished, "baking" vehicle in the sun will bond Liquid Glass Polish/Finish to the surface. The greater the number of coats, the greater the protection afforded. Liquid Glass Wash Concentrate can be used to remove debris and refreshen between coats.

Occasionally on dark colored vehicles, streaking may occur. Temperature, previously used wax products, and buffing cloths are all things that can affect streaking. Streaks can be eliminated by rebuffing the surface with a damp cloth.

Liquid Glass Polish/Finish can be applied to any nonporous surface including aluminum, stainless steel, brass, glass, ceramic tile, etc. There are thousands of uses for business or in the home. Caution should be used, however, since a long-lasting slippery finish can be dangerous in places (for example, bath tub or shower floor). Do not use on porous surfaces such as fabrics, upholstery, leather, vinyl, etc.

We'll start with the less expensive stuff and work our way up, without crossing the $50,000 threshold.

2013 Australian Motor Show axed

Tue, 26 Mar 2013

This year’s Australian Motor Show in Melbourne has been cancelled by its organizers three months before its planned opening. Falling attendance figures played a big part in taking the decision, as did what is seen as a lack of manufacturer support. The Australian International Motor Show Joint Venture's event director Russ Tyrie said the decision was taken "based on a consensus view of the automotive industry to focus limited marketing budgets in 2013 on firm-specific activities, rather than an industry-based motor show." The Volkswagen Group's decision not to attend may well have acted as the final nail in the coffin along with Hyundai's hesitancy despite initial support.
