New Porsche 911 Carrera 4: Official

Mon, 27 Aug 2012

Porsche has revealed details of the new Porsche Carrera 4 ahead of its debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. After we published the first leaked photos of the 2013 Porsche Carrera 4 at the weekend it seemed likely that Porsche’s own reveal wouldn’t be far behind, and here it is. As expected, we get the reveal not just of the 911 Carrera 4 and Carrera 4S, but the cabriolet version as well as the coupe; a full set of new Porsche 911s.

Honda Vezel crossover arrives at the Tokyo motor show

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

For the record, Vezel rhymes with "bezel," and it's the name of Honda's long suspected Fit-based crossover. Honda showed off the new Vezel hybrid model at the Tokyo motor show, though the production model set to launch in Japan in December will also be available with a straight-gasoline 1.5-liter direct-injected engine also. Other details are still slim, but the company did claim a "Sport Hybrid i-DCD" powertrain will get a stronger engine and most likely a dual-clutch transmission with integrated electric motor.

MINI compares Classic Mini to Porsche 911

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

The Classic Mini & Classic Porsche 911 A comparison between the classic Mini and the Porsche 911 may not be the most obvious, but that hasn’t stopped MINI jumping on the 911′s 50th anniversary year with a comparison between the two iconic cars. MINI assert that the similarities between the classic Mini and the 911 are based on their ‘Forever Young’ ethos (which is, in no small part, down to the fact both are still clearly similar to the original design)  and their performance. The Mini arrived before the 911 – Mini in 1959, 911 in 1963 – but both turned the car world on its head with a delightful turn of design, speed and appeal, with the original Mini ending up selling 5.3 million and the, still continuing, 911 starting to close in on a million sales.
