Original accessory part from the 1910-1930 period, not restored. Has been repaired around rectangular mounting pad, look closely at photos to see this item!
Manufacturer Part Number:532

Original accessory mounting bracket for a spot light, driving light or fog light.  Stamped "532", solid brass casting, original nickel plating finish is mostly worn off.   Light mounting arm places light about 4" away from base. Mounting base is about 2-1/2" x 1-1/4".   Designed to  mount to the side of a flat or slightly rounded surface, as on the side of cowl on an open car or the side of the windshield post on a closed car.  Light mounting hole is 9/16", and there is a "stop" to prevent light from pivoting too far on the mount.  Not sure if this mounting arm was originally curved as shown, or originally had a straight arm.   Rectangular mounting pad has rough brazed repair around one mounting hole, please see especially photo #6 and #7.  Unrestored original antique part from the 1910 to early 1930's time period.  Don't miss out on a rare chance for this authentic period accessory !

Nissan's Qashqai grabs top award

Thu, 10 Oct 2013

NISSAN'S Qashqai crossover has been voted ‘Used Car of the Year’ by used car pricing experts CAP – for the second year in a row. A panel of judges comprising of used car market and vehicle valuation experts at CAP said: “The Nissan Qashqai has created an entirely new ‘crossover’ sector and prompted other manufacturers to follow by marrying the practicality of a people carrier with the looks of a quality 4x4. By achieving this in a package that also offers economy, handling, strong build quality and reliability the Qashqai has become the perfect used car for our time.” The panel noted that strong demand meant the Qashqai was always highly sought after by trade buyers and customers alike, meaning it depreciated slowly and outperformed the general market.
