Citroen to revive the DS – sort of

It went on to spawn the legendary Citroen SM – a Maserati powered ‘Supercar’ – and its place in Citroen’s history is assured as the most significant model produced by the French manufacturer (together with the 2CV, at the other end of the cost scale). So even though it seems a bit back to front to trumpet two new versions of the Swift before revealing the overall tweaks to the range, it’s probably got Suzuki three times the coverage they’d have got if they’d just announced the 2013 tweaks included the 5-door Sport and 4WD option. Who can blame them?

General Motors taps Europe design chief to run Cadillac, Buick

General Motors is bringing Opel's design chief to the United States to lead Cadillac and Buick styling and is moving the head of Buick and GMC styling to the top design post in Europe. The automaker is also shuffling duties for two other top design executives. The changes were announced Monday.
