Fri, 05 Aug 2011Alfa Romeo 4C Frankfurt Tease (click for full image) We’ve had good reason to report on the Alfa Romeo 4C since it arrived on the car landscape back at Geneva in March. Churchill’s Land Rover sells for £129,000
Mon, 22 Oct 2012A Land Rover presented to Sir Winston Churchill on his 80th birthday has sold at auction for £129,000. Thankfully, there are still enough wealthy people in the world who don’t give a fig about the opinions of the eco-mentalists and who are inclined to buy the best that car makers can produce, regardless of eco-sensibilities. Which is why we can still glory in motoring delights like the Aston Martin One-77 even if its £1.2 million price tags is beyond the reach of most.
