Up for auction is a USED Lincoln Mark Viii Electric Fan Assembly. This was removed from a 1995 Lincoln Mark Viii, and is a popular upgrade for many applications.  This fan is Super Clean, as seen in the pictures.  There has been claims online that this fan pulls near or over 3500 cfm's of air. The fan assembly measures approx. 22" wide x 19" high x 5.25" deep, and the fan itself is a 18". The assembly may need to be modified for your application.   The factory mounting brackets have been removed, as most do this for custom installations anyways. Included with the fan is the wiring pig tail for easy installation and a factory look.  I have tested the fan and it works great. I have tested the fan and can guarantee it will work when you receive it.

THIS FAN FEATURES ONLY TWO WIRES, Blue (Power) and Black(Ground). Though the pigtail has 3 wires, the middle black wire and the blue wire are tied together inside the fan connection.  From the factory, the fan is switched from (low to high) by the Mark Viii PWM.  To copy this set up, simply use a dcc controller, or another aftermarket variable speed controller of your choice and your ready to go! If you hook up the wiring directly from the fan to a power wire using a relay (no controller), the fan will run on high only.

Hyundai rules out separate premium brand

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

Hyundai Motor Co. has ruled out spinning off the Genesis or Equus nameplates to create an independent premium brand along the lines of Lexus or Infiniti, partly because of the enormous cost involved and possible image damage to sibling nameplates. "There are no plans for Hyundai to make a separate brand," Vice Chairman Shin Jong-Woon said in an interview Friday at the carmaker's headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.

Zero tolerance to drink-driving urged

Tue, 10 Jun 2014

DRIVERS are being urged to pledge not to drink any alcohol before driving this summer as the police launches a new drink-driving campaign. The call comes from road safety charity Brake, which reports that the 2013 summer drink-driving campaign by the police breathalysed 100,892 drivers and 5170 failed the test. This summer’s football World Cup is a cause for concern for the police as drivers may be tempted to have an alcoholic drink while watching a football match before getting into their car.

Hennessey tunes Chevrolet SS to 1,000 hp

Fri, 02 May 2014

Forget the Camaro Z/28 for a minute: Hennessey is offering performance packages for the Chevrolet SS that boost the car from from a not-unreasonable 475 hp to the "there's-just-no-way" 1,000 hp. That's right, Hennessey Performance saw a gap in the market for rear-wheel drive domestic sedans with 1,000 hp on tap, and like any smart business, went for it. In fact, we don't know why this niche hasn't been filled until now.
