Henrik Fisker wants to buy back Fisker
Mon, 27 May 2013The resignation of Henrik Fisker in March from the eponymous company he worked so hard to build in to a credible ‘Green’ car company precipitated the meltdown of Fisker, which now stands on the edge of bankruptcy over $171 million owed to the US government. But Henrik Fisker has a plan. He’s teamed up with Hong Kong billionaire Richard Li – a Fisker investor – to try and buy the US government debt and save Fisker from being crushed by bankruptcy.
Tesla Eye showcar by IED
Mon, 22 Mar 2010The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) was the only university to have a stand at the recent Geneva motor show. Occupying a booth in the center of the upper main hall, the school showcased the Eye concept, a recent project designed by students in the Master of Arts Transportation Design program in collaboration with Tesla Motors. According to IED, the Eye concept was born out of research into the identity promoted by Tesla to achieve a new objective: designing an everyday 2+2 sports car conceived to become a status-symbol; a car with engaging features and sports car performance ideally suited to a young, cosmopolitan target demographic.
Pothole app gets goverment backing
Tue, 31 Dec 2013A NEW SMARTPHONE APP to report potholes has been given backing by the government. The Department for Transport has given £30,000 to help develop the app, which has been launched by the Cyclists’ Touring Club (CTC). The app is part of the CTC’s ‘Fill That Hole’ pothole reporting website.
