    You are looking at a Linkert M41 1 1/4" carb. body. I believe this is for a 1940 - 1948 Harley WL, but can be used on a V or U series. Basically this is a 3 bolt 1 1/4" externally vented carb body.
    
    All the threads are cherry as shown. There is no wear where the throttle disc closes as shown. No heli coils or filing of the air cleaner/intake manifold surfaces necessary.

   

I have done my best to properly identify this but please do your own research.

New World Record is not child’s play

THE NATIONAL MOTOR MUSEUM is celebrating its success in setting a new World Record for the longest line of toy cars. To achieve the record, the museum gathered 24,189 model cars and laid them bumper to bumper to create an unbroken line that stretched for 1910-metres. Snaking its way around the museum’s grounds, the line of toy cars more than trumped the previous record of 14,310 toy cars.

Volkswagen has confirmed its e-Up! electric city car will cost £19,250 including the £5,000 government Plug-in Car Grant subsidy. The car is on sale now in the UK at Volkswagen’s 24 specialist EV electric vehicle retailers, with deliveries starting at the end of January 2014.

Since then the car has received harsh criticism from the press and been outsold by the Nissan Leaf in the North American market. Given the unique powertrain, we felt longer exposure to the Volt was therefore in order, so on a recent trip to Michigan, we lived with one for five days.
