Flywheel Locking Tool
for
6.6L Duramax

A must-have tool for water pump replacement jobs!

Description

This tool locks the flywheel in place when removing the harmonic balancer on 6.6L Duramax engines with Allison automatic transmissions. It saves a lot of time by locking the flywheel at the transmission instead of having to remove the starter. On 2500 and 3500 pickups, remove metal spring-loaded inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission and slide the tool into the opening, toward the engine, with the top of the tool engaging the teeth of the flywheel. On 4500 and 5500 trucks, remove the rubber inspection cap on the bottom of the transmission. Insert the tool at the front of the opening to engage the flywheel, and hand tighten the bolt to hold the tool in place. Use a 36mm 12-point socket with 3/4" square drive to remove harmonic balancer bolt.

Louis Vuitton Classic Concours d'Elegance 2004

Fri, 11 Jun 2004

June 11, 2004 - While the British Motor Show seems to have degenerated into a low-brow car carnival, shunned by some manufacturers and most designers, Britain still hosts some of the best classic car events in Europe that can attract top entries and enthusiasts alike. Last week, the 14th Louis Vuitton Classic was held at Waddesdon Manor, near Oxford, UK, a fabulous Renaissance-style chateau built by the Rothschilds in 1874 and set in 2500 acres of landscaped grounds. This year the event was open to the public for the first time and appeared to challenge the celebrated Goodwood Festival of Speed for the sheer quality of exhibits, number of celebrities and a suitably glamorous setting.

The Fiat Freemont - Dodge Journey with a Fiat badge At the end of December we revealed that Fiat had decided they should take the Dodge Journey and turn it in to a Fiat. The Fiat Freemont – for that is what Fiat had decided to rename the Dodge Challenger for Europe –  would effectively be a replacement for the Fiat Ulysse MPV. It seems that Fiat has caught up with our story, so we now have official details on what the Freemont will offer.
