Flywheel Locking Tool
for
6.6L Duramax

A must-have tool for water pump replacement jobs!

Description

This tool locks the flywheel in place when removing the harmonic balancer on 6.6L Duramax engines with Allison automatic transmissions. It saves a lot of time by locking the flywheel at the transmission instead of having to remove the starter. On 2500 and 3500 pickups, remove metal spring-loaded inspection plate on the bottom of the transmission and slide the tool into the opening, toward the engine, with the top of the tool engaging the teeth of the flywheel. On 4500 and 5500 trucks, remove the rubber inspection cap on the bottom of the transmission. Insert the tool at the front of the opening to engage the flywheel, and hand tighten the bolt to hold the tool in place. Use a 36mm 12-point socket with 3/4" square drive to remove harmonic balancer bolt.

2012 Mercedes S Class to spawn a convertible

Tue, 17 May 2011

The n2012 Mercedes S Class will lose its top It’s probably a sign of increasing decrepitude as it seems only five minutes since Mercedes launched the current S Class, but already we’re talking about the 2012 Mercedes S Class – and it’s only a year away. As has always been the case with a new S-Class we can look forward to a raft of new innovations when the new S Class launches late next year; clever stuff that will eventually filter down to the cars of lesser mortals as the technology matures and the cost falls. And that clever stuff will be packaged up in a big saloon car – the normal S-Class – an even bigger car – the LWB S-Class – and a huge two door coupe – the Mercedes CL, which is expected to be renamed the S-Class Coupe when the new S-Class launches.

The Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro: A gift to VW Group fanatics Each year European VW fans gather on the shores of Lake Worthersee in Austria to celebrate their favourite brand, with an emphasis on the Golf GTI. The Scuola Politecnica di Design and Volkswagen Group Design are continuing their partnership on the Transportation and Car Design Masters by offering a program including scholarships and employment opportunities for the very best candidates. This project focuses on the theme of sustainable urban mobility as interpreted by Audi and Skoda. 20 million people are expected to visit Expo 2015 in Milan leading to congestion problems, and so VW Group wants to see a vehicle that is connected to the brand's concept of ‘freedom, versatility, and swift transport'.
