some wear overall with some soiling/rust patching to the top dome/threading seems damaged in the mouth of the bronze fitting - when the valve is pushed air is pushed out the top pipe - otherwise not tested/sold as rebuildable item.
Country/Region of Manufacture:United States

vintage item from the estate of a Steam Engine builder (including a small steam engine powered car!) -- I believe this is some sort of steam operated Pressure Valve built with a McDonald bronze valve attached to a shaft that operates another valve that pumps air out the top pipe -- 1 1/4 in. id bronze piping-entire unit measures 10 in. tall by about 6 in. across --

-- moderate wear overall with some grease and soiling/denting to the copper piping - shaft turns with a nice 'pop' - otherwise not tested/sold as rebuildable item --

-- we are generally always listing several vintage Automobile/Truck parts --

Free Local pick-up is an option. Out-of-country buyers are welcome, but overseas shipping is more.
