This is a lock unlock sound generation circuit for AUDI TT 8N (mk1).
This can be attached to AUDI TT MK1 for Asia or North America. (central locking unit parts number:8N8 962 267 A/F) This can't be attached to AUDI TT MK1 for Europe. (central locking unit parts number:8N8 962 267 D/E) By setting this circuit up and validating genuine security function by using computer (VCDS etc.) you can generate lock unlock sound by your favorite horn or siren. (you need to use 12V specification horn or siren) If genuine security function is installed in your TT, and chirps one time with key lock by remote key, you don't have to do the computer works. (In this case, by setting this circuit up, unlock sound that doesn't chirp now come to be generated.) lock unlock sound generation timing is the below. (all pattern is generated with engine off (key off) ) sound is generated one time with key lock by remote key sound is generated one time by closing again after trunk open while key lock. sound is generated twice with key unlock by remote key note : This circuit assumes the lock unlock by remote key. If you use key cylinder attaching to door knob, the sound may or may not occur. Regarding wiring, you need to tap the below from central locking unit attaching to left rear inner. B+ unlock signal security activate signal ground Further, you need to wire positive for siren to blank terminal of central locking unit and this circuit. If genuine security function is installed in your TT, you don't have to wire to blank terminal of central locking unit.
