Range Rover (2010): first official photos

Wed, 08 Apr 2009

By Tim Pollard First Official Pictures 08 April 2009 00:01 It looks like a minor model year facelift for Land Rover's range-topper, the Range Rover, but this 2010 iteration is claimed to boast 1420 new tooled parts on the car. The new Range Rover heads up a trio of renewed Land Rovers – and it'll arrive in August 2009, a few weeks before the similarly refreshed Discovery 4 and Range Rover Sport.

Citroen DS 6WR (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

While Peugeot is showing off the stunning Exalt concept, this is the first picture of the new Citroen SUV ahead of its launch at the Beijing motor show. Part of the plan sees a stepping-up ‘DS’ as a premium sub-brand for Citroen, and that’s why the 6WR takes styling cues from the Wild Rubis concept of 2013.

Always Evolving's Porsche Carerra GT -- recognizable for its unusual red color and black wheels -- is a difficult car to drive for even professionals, with one top driver calling its handling “scary." Those of us at Autoweek who have driven the car will likely concur. Always Evolving, a car race and tuner store operated by CEO Roger Rodas, a financial consultant who became friends and business partners with actor Paul Walker at a racetrack, acquired the car last spring, and used it often at car shows and in promotional ads. Rodas was driving when the car crashed, killing him and passenger Walker in a California business park Saturday afternoon.
