When he talks, Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne conveys high hopes that the Alfa Romeo brand soon will be a huge business success, but actions often speak louder than words. Fiat has massively reduced the size of the 100-year-old sporty brand's stand at the forthcoming Geneva show. In March, Alfa's stand will shrink to 639 square meters from this year's 979 square meters, which was the second-largest display space among Fiat Group's portfolio after the Fiat brand.

Kimmi Raikkonen wind for Ferrari at Spa-Francorchamps But the big winner of the day was Force India, with Giancarlo Fisichella taking his car to an astonishing second place. And there was no luck in the position either, both Fisichella and the Force India were strong enough to have won with a little more luck. Starting from pole, Fisichella was blitzed down the long straight by Raikkonen’s KERS, but managed to hustle the tail of the Ferrari to the end, finishing just 0.9 seconds adrift at the end.

So where’s the posh new London dealership for the new McLaren MP4-12C? Just a stone’s throw from the old Park Lane McLaren site, it's emerged. One Hyde Park is the new home for the company in the UK’s capital city, and McLaren predicts that the flagship London store will be the busiest of the planned global outlets for the MP4-12C supercar, thanks mainly to the prime Knightsbridge location.
